Maize Jewelry & Co. LLC is a registered U.S. Limited Liability Company operating as a private diamond sourcing and consulting practice. We serve a select group of clients who approach diamond purchasing as a considered, deliberate decision — and who expect the process to reflect that standard.
This is not a retail operation. There is no showroom, no catalog, and no inventory pressure. What we offer is expertise, access, and a formal process that places the client's specification at the center of every sourcing decision.
Founder & Advisor
Evan Hackett established Maize Jewelry & Co. LLC to provide private clients with the kind of sourcing expertise and supplier access that has historically been available only to trade professionals. Every engagement is personally managed from initial consultation through final transfer.
The Advisory Approach
Private diamond sourcing done well requires technical fluency, supplier relationships, and the discipline to let the client's specification — not available inventory — drive every recommendation. Our role is to bring that expertise to the client side of the transaction. We are not vendors. We are advisors with access.
Recommendations are made on the basis of proportion analysis, verified certification, and real-world performance data. We do not take supplier commissions based on which stones we recommend. Our alignment is entirely with your specification.
Operating Standards
Maize Jewelry & Co. LLC operates to the following standards on every engagement: transactions are conducted pursuant to written agreement; invoicing is itemized and traceable; certification is independently issued by IGI or GIA; chain of custody is documented from supplier through client transfer; and client records are maintained and available upon request.
These are not aspirational standards. They are the baseline by which every engagement is conducted — because in a business built on trust, process is the product.
Ethics Statement
We do not misrepresent stone origin, certification status, or market pricing. We do not pressure clients toward decisions or timelines that serve our interests over theirs. We do not advance an engagement without the documentation to support it. If a stone does not meet your specification at viewing, we say so — and we find one that does.
